Begin Again

Soon, I may be transitioning from working as a marketing consultant to something new or different and the time seemed right to start to capture moments in my art journey.  Hence, the blog!

"Desert Drawings" will be about my sketches and watercolors mostly from the Southwest, USA where I live.  The desert landscape is relatively new to me and presents some real challenges and opportunities in art creation; the color palette, the light and the heat make for a interesting combination.

I hope to post about my artwork, how it came about, my personal critiques and also about different art tools which always present opportunities to learn and improve.
